HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TIM!

Tim and I were married 38 years ago today. We met while attending CCH---Church College of Hawaii...what a romantic place to find a handsome man!!! Five fabulous children, a great son-in-law, two wonderful daughters-in-law and two perfect grandchildren later we are still together--my mother said it would never last and almost demanded that I not marry him. (There was someone else I had dated before Tim she wanted me to marry.) She wouldn't give us a reception and we kind of "eloped" to the SL Temple--she came but wasn't very happy about being there.

We have lived in SLC, Provo, Phoenix, North Olmstead, OH, Bay Village, OH, Lexington, KY, Westlake, OH, and back to SLC.

I cannot believed we have traveled to so many countries...too many to name...but I will mention my favorites: Peru, China, Thailand, Tahiti and Canada to visit my relatives.

I've supported him through: school...U of U, BYU, and Thunderbird. Jobs-- Hanna, Old Ben, Geneva...and some we'd like to forget, PLUS... starting his own business. Kidney stones and the times we packed up the family and moved. Tim served many times as a counselor--6 or 7... in the bishopric at church, and in Young Men, Cub Master, scouts, stake callings like executive secretary and YM, Elders and High Priests--to name a few.

He has supported me: through 6 pregnancies, 1 miscarriage, having Alison die, cancer, PTA pres., city-wide fundraiser for the Westlake schools, room mother probably more than a dozen times, working for a law firm, chocolate store, two Governors, UESP and higher ed, serving in every auxiliary in our church....Primary Pres...twice, cub master, YW Pres. Ward and Stake RS Pres., teaching Sunday School with Tim, and now YW Pres. again--to name a few.

I could have been a better wife and mother, he could have been a better husband and father... but we're still working on these together. We're pretty good grandparents to Jack and Sadie. Through all the trials in life, we've been so blessed.

Tim, Happy 38th Anniversary; I love you.
